November’s favorite product finds – from productivity hacks to sustainable products to kids’ educational toys to everything else in between.
November was filled with lots of moving parts – from finally purging my closet (trust me, it’s a big freaking deal) to getting through my yoga certification (woot woot) to getting back to a regular blogging schedule to digging much deeper as far as my spirituality goes to enjoying all the festivities amidst all the madness (Diwali, Halloween, Thanksgiving), the month flew by real fast!
I also stayed as far away as possible from any kind of Black Friday and Cyber Monday/Week shopping for the exact same reason. Not sure if my bank accounts are thanking me or if they are concerned about it, but I certainly am glad about this HUGE change, I do hope to stick with it when the world opens back up!
Surely another lesson I needed to learn, and it so happens that COVID had to be the one to open my eyes to it, who’d have thunk!?

TOP 10 NOVEMBER FAVORITE FINDS
1. Ergonomic Mouse
When it comes to things like this, my hubby is always thinking ahead, for me, as I am the worst at paying attention to how much time I spend in front of the computer and how harmful the non-stop typing can be for my wrists. So he bought me this Ergonomic Mouse. At first, I thought I’d never get used to a vertical mouse, that was clearly underestimating how adaptable we humans are, in just a matter of a few hours not only did I get used to using this mouse but it also felt as if I’d been using it for months. They say the standard mouse could be slowing you down, damaging muscles and nerves, and causing fatigue. An ergonomic mouse is designed to fit the human body and allows you to keep your hands, elbows, wrists, and arms in a natural position. It can make one more productive, reduce fatigue, and prevent common conditions like mouse arm syndrome, carpal tunnel, and RSI.
2. Man with a plan
Man with a plan TV show is a recent favorite sitcom of mine, too bad there aren’t any more episodes left of it to watch, sigh! First off, I haven’t been watching much TV this year, and secondly, I can’t stand a lot of comedy shows, cuz there is nothing funny about them (Friends is my kinda sitcom). So when the hubs first played the Man with a Plan show I was quite skeptical, but to my surprise, I really liked it. And I became a fan in no time. IMDB ratings are also 7/10 which is pretty decent. The whole cast is amazing, and Joey aka Matt LeBlanc is perfect for the role and his expressions are spot on, so is the one playing the role of his wife, Andy. Love their story, chemistry, and the support they offer each other.
3. Magnetic Letters Kit
The Magnetic Letters Kit is one of the best educational toys/products that I have found for my little one in recent times. Great for helping my toddler learn spellings, math counting, build his vocabulary, etc. The Magnetic Letters Kit includes upper and lower case letters, numbers, symbols, whiteboard, pen, eraser, double-sided magnetic board, and flashcards, all packed in a good quality storage box (easy to see, sort, use). These letters are the perfect size and can also be stuck on the refrigerator which makes it even more fun. It is an excellent product and I highly recommend this for your own kids’ or to give as a gift! Another option here. P.S. As we read him books we simultaneously use this kit to teach him to spell.
4. Smart Reusable Notebook
LOVE this Smart Reusable Notebook, it is truly a total game-changer for me! Again, I can’t take credit for it, my darling hubby always scores tons of brownie points for thinking about and buying me products that are uber useful and make my life a ton easier! I am a huge brain dumper, as in you can find sheets upon sheets of me jotting down ideas, to-do’s, editing, checking things off, etc. The feeling of brain dumping on a book doesn’t remotely compare to doing so online, #ifyouknowyouknow 😉 With this book, I can write as much as I want and when done erase and reuse, so no more wasting paper (helps the planet)! I can even do my journaling in this book and anything else that I want to hold onto – capture it on the phone and upload it to the cloud so I can access it anywhere and anytime! This is an exceptional idea and I also like that each page has grid markings. It has 30+ K reviews.
5. Trader Joe’s Pizza
As with all things Trader Joe’s, their Organic Roasted Vegetable Pizza also comes with a twist. I am not much for frozen food, but you bet that you can always find a stock of these frozen pizzas in our refrigerator. The Trader Joe’s Organic Roasted Vegetable Pizza comes loaded with high quality marinated squash and veggies, which makes it a great option for frozen pizza. The cheese tastes great too. All in all, it is comparatively a healthier option to any other pizza, plus truly delivers on flavors! Both the hubs and I love it and it makes our Friday nights special, with a glass of red wine followed by some ooey-gooey dessert of course, haha #parentlife you all! Also, their cauliflower pizza crust is yummy too!
6. Unroll subscription
I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t struggle with their inboxes exploding in their faces all the time, especially if you are like me and sign up for quite a lot of newsletters and other random stuff in the name of market research. And yes, I do have multiple inboxes and still somehow end up with this issue. Well, that was until I found Unroll a few years back. With Unroll you can easily unsubscribe from email subscriptions in one click. “Decluttering your inbox has never been so easy, or looked so good. With Unroll.Me, you can unsubscribe from unwanted emails, consolidate sales/newsletters/listserv emails into a convenient daily digest called the Rollup, and keep the rest in your inbox.”
7. Read Kindle on Alexa
Being able to have Alexa read my kindle books to me has been another total game-changer ever since I found out about this feature, say what now!? Yep! Alexa can read your Kindle books on any Echo device. Alexa uses the same text-to-speech technology that is used to read the news, calendar appointments, and other items to read books purchased from the Kindle store, borrowed from the Kindle Lending Library or even my local library, or from Kindle Unlimited. Thanks to being able to read Kindle books through Alexa I am making progress through the dozens of books on my Kindle or it’d take me forever to get through them. Along with podcasts and listening to audible books, this is an added bonus that I use as I cook, clean, and tend to other chores #nowastingtime around here. My favorite Alexa features here.
8. Conscious Parenting Book
I first did Dr.Shefali’s Conscious Parenting course before getting my hands on the book. The book is deep and consists of a lot of layers. Whether you are a parent or not it is a must-read for everyone, cuz guess what? We are all born to parents. The Conscious Parenting book by Dr.Shefali revolves around how we all must first be conscious beings (yes, in a more spiritual sense). And when you are a parent and come from a place of consciousness then you act towards your kids from that very place instead of coming from a place of unrealistic expectations. The book has us parents look in the mirror to find our inner state of wholeness and essence and parent from that place instead of coming from a place of ‘control’ and ridiculous expectations.
9. Red Lipstick
If there is one red lippie that looks great on all skin tones then it has to be the bomb dot com lipstick, M.A.C. Ruby Woo – it is the ultimate bold, opaque, matte cherry red. Given that the holidays are right around the corner I figured I’d share this with you, on the rare occasion that you haven’t heard of it and would like to try a red lip color and would like to go bright and bold this holiday season (as you log into your next zoom meeting! ;)) The shade is a deep color with a flat, matte finish. The lipstick stays put for long. It is raved by celebrities and makeup artists alike. My only gripe is that I’d have liked it to be a bit more moisturizing.
10. Sunrise Alarm clock
The Wake Up Sunrise alarm clock uses a warm LED light that gradually brightens 30 mins before the alarm time to gently wake you up. It is a great alternative to naturally be woken up. You could start your day in a pleasant way by waking up to your choice of nature-inspired sounds (birds, lullaby, and ocean waves) available in the alarm clock. It also offers sunset simulation to gently dim the room and can also act as a night light. You can hit the snooze button to pause the alarm and turn off the light and sound for 5 minutes. The clock has 8 colorful light options and can also double as a table or bedside lamp during non-sleeping hours. Another option here, this one pairs with Alexa, if only I knew this last year then I’d have bought this instead. Morning routine for a blissful life here.
