No, for the millionth time, Life Coaching is not only for when you have a problem, the biggest myth ever! The reality is that if you have any goal worth pursuing then get a life coach already!
MYTH BUSTED👇🏽
REALITY: If you have a goal, any goal that is worth pursuing in life then it is worth getting a Life Coach, whether your desire is to climb Mt.Everest (literally or figuratively) or as simple as getting better at managing your day & habits (be productive, less stressed, etc, etc), or anything else in between
You DO NOT need to be suffering in any way to get a Life Coach, period!

MYTH: You get a Life Coach if you have a ‘problem’.
The number of times I’ve heard from friends, family members, and folks on social media, ‘oh this is a great time to get certified as a Life Coach, a lot of people are currently struggling with mental health issues and/or are going through some kind of pain.’
SIGH!
Nope, you do NOT go to a Life Coach for mental health issues, instead, you seek the help of a therapist. See more below from @jayshettycetificationschool breaking it all down in detail.
Trust me, I’ve been there, one with the biggest myths about life coaches & now I know all too well what life is like with a Life Coach vs. without one.
Yep, I have a Life Coach too, in case you were wondering. You gotta walk the walk!
@sadhguru in his book, Inner Engineering sums it up beautifully —
‘On this journey, the guru is not the destination but the road map. The inner dimension is uncharted terrain. If you are exploring terrain that is unfamiliar to you, isn’t it better to have signposts? You could find your own way, but who knows, it could take lifetimes. When you’re on unfamiliar terrain, it’s just sensible to take directions. On one level, that is all a guru is — a live road map.
GPS: Guru Pathfinding System!’
P.S. In Life Coach speak, directions simply means asking the right questions that you never ask yourself (or rarely ever ask but without truly answering them)!
P.P.S. When your understanding of a certain profession is limited then it is wise to shut up than argue with the one (who has been certified) & tell them what they do/do not do, your reality doesn’t make for ‘real reality’.
But if you are genuinely interested then seek to truly understand and be open to accepting that you were ‘wrong’. That is the only way we can grow, but coming from a place of ego won’t allow that, this scenario or life in general! #lifecoaching101
“Life coaching is your opportunity to take life from good to great.”
