57 HIGHLY ADDICTIVE, BINGE-WORTHY PODCASTS TO LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW
After I wrote the best kids podcasts blog post, I got some requests to share my favorite podcasts for adults. So here I am, with my exhaustive, long list of podcast recommendations, just for you…
I am a podcast junkie!
I listen to podcasts like it’s my job, no kidding!
Now if only I got paid for listening to podcasts then I sure would have been a millionaire by now. Hmm does anyone pay you to listen to podcasts? just like they do to play video games (or some such thing like that?) Ummm, maybe someone should 😉
“Motivation doesn’t last quite long, neither does bathing, and that is why we recommend it every day.” – this, right here, is exactly why I am a HUGE fan of podcasts.
My day begins and ends with listening to a podcast. Of course, I listen to them throughout the day too, i.e. whenever I get a chance!
I am a huge multitasker (whether I am good at it or not is totally up for debate, but we will take that one up another day) and podcasts make me an even better multitasker.
As in, I don’t ever have to feel guilty about cleaning or decluttering the house for an entire weekend and feel terrible that I wasted 2 full days without getting anything productive done. Because, I am almost always listening to podcasts, whether I am cleaning, cooking, driving, shopping, walking/running or road-tripping/flying, there’s always a podcast to accompany me!
If you are not into podcasts then now is the perfect time to jump on the bandwagon, cuz these are the best podcasts to listen to while in quarantine, and I am here to help…
Or if you are looking for new podcasts to listen to (cuz you have too much time on your hands or need more inspiration or both), again, I am here to help…

WHY ARE PODCASTS SO POPULAR AND WHY DO I LOVE PODCASTS AS MUCH AS I DO?
1. Podcasts are what I see as bite-sized informational content that is readily available on any topic of your interest.
According to Forbes, ‘there are now over 800,000 active podcasts with over 54 million podcast episodes currently available worldwide’. And I bet, among these active podcasts you will find a few dozen podcasts to cater to your needs – whether you are looking for podcasts on self-development or a podcast to help you stay up-to-date with current events, there’s always a podcast for that!
2. Podcasts are free and you can listen to them while on-the-go or on the computer – Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, etc, make podcasts available to you at your fingertips as and when you want them.
3. If you do not have the time to read books then listening to podcasts is a great alternative! Whether you have an hour and a half to dedicate to learning about a specific topic or you only have 10 mins to spare, there’s a podcast for that too!
4. Podcast also builds a loyal fan base and brings the community closer. Listeners form connections and keep in touch through social media groups, etc. Since there is already an underlying liking for a specific podcast, there is a comfort level among listeners to talk/share about their opinions/ideas within these groups.
5. Most importantly, podcasts are education and entertainment combined into one! Podcasts help you see things from a different perspective, they help you through your journey of personal development and growth as well as help you learn and develop your skills and talents.
Podcasts, in a way, make industry thought leaders and experts your (personal) life coaches. The deep-dive interviews and conversations, if you are willing to see it (figuratively speaking) are exactly what you need, to carry on with, and excel in, your journey (personal and professional).
BEST BINGE-WORTHY PODCASTS TO LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW!
When I started writing this blog post, my intention was to keep the list of podcasts under 20, but I very quickly realized that that would be a disservice (I should have known myself better).
I mean, how could I possibly only list 20 podcasts? When I have a whooping list of close to 60? 57 to be precise, I just counted. Which podcast would I include and which ones would I leave out?
You understand my dilemma here?
Yea, I am not up for that kind of challenge. So, I am simply going to list most of my favorite podcasts below, and in no particular order. I say ‘most’ because 1) I am pretty sure I am forgetting a few more 2) And a few other podcasts I listen to are specific to my personal/professional interests.
