Shop your closet, Affordable Valentine’s Day Casual Outfits Under $25
Whether you are heading out to paint the town red or staying in with your beau to celebrate Valentine’s Day, feel romantic in these cute and affordable Valentine’s Day inspired casual outfit ideas!
Off late I have become more about shopping my own closet and styling looks from what I already own rather than spending $$ on buying new clothes every time (will share why in a separate post soon).
So today I am sharing a few affordable, easy and casual Valentine’s Day looks that you can create with pieces that you already have in your closet.
And/or spend $25 or less on one hero piece and elevate your casual Valentine’s Day outfit!
Cuz I know, not everybody wants to go out and buy a new outfit for every event, especially if Valentine’s Day is an occasion you like to celebrate but also want to keep it simple and not go overboard!

P.S. I have over half a dozen Valentine’s Day outfits to shoot to show you guys but this non-stop rainy weather in Seattle has literally rained on my plans. I simply can’t bring myself to go out and shoot photos in this miserable weather, so we’ll just have to do without that and use our imagination instead.
But I am linking quite a few affordable options below so that should help give you some ideas!
POP OF COLOR
You don’t have to go big and bold in red for Valentine’s Day (i.e. if that’s not your style). Pick an item of clothing that adds a splash of color and pair it with neutrals and keep the rest of your outfit simple!
And it doesn’t even have to be red, think pink, blush, maroon, and every other shade in between on the color spectrum.
ACCESSORIES
But if you want to stick with a neutral palette as far as your outfit goes, then go for it but make a statement with a, duh, statement piece such as a cute headband, a purse, earrings, necklace, shoes, etc.
Either opt for colors of love or elements of love (such as the ‘LOVE’ chain I am wearing here).
MAKEUP
And if neither of the above work for you then simply put on your favorite little black dress and flaunt a bold red lip (or maybe you want to keep it subtle with other V-Day shades) or do up your eyes with baby pink eye shadows.
And if you are feeling it then go a little more dramatic with a winged eyeliner.
Now that isn’t too daunting to dress for Valentine’s Day, is it!? So go pick your favorite outfit and have the best night with your special someone!
