I know, it’s already the 17th and my Top 10 Favorite Finds is extremely delayed this month, but better late than never right!?
But first, a quick November recap (cuz you all love my recaps)…
WE DID IT! I mean, we stayed put in Seattle and did NOT travel for an entire month… don’t get me wrong, OUR FAMILY LOVES to travel and explore the world, one place at a time, and we have traveled every single month in 2019 ✈️ 🌍 But time spent traveling and away from home means a life that is not normal, it means coming back to longer than normal to-do-lists, and then it is all downhill from there.⠀ ⠀
So we were seeking some kind of normalcy (cuz let’s face it, traveling every month isn’t remotely normal) and I made a pact with myself that every year we will not travel for an entire month and we stuck to it, November was that month for us (although, we almost planned a last min trip to Portland but held off on that temptation) 👏🏻 I even said NO to any opportunities that came our way. ⠀ ⠀
That didn’t mean our to-do’s got any shorter, if anything the lists only got even longer with taking on one too many pending projects (including migrating this blog from one platform to another, painting our fireplace, etc, etc). Well, they had to get done some time, and we have only just begun and have a long long way to go, but it’s a start ✨ And its progress, and progress makes me happy, and it fuels me. ⠀ ⠀
Now if only I could shut off my computer and finally take a day off, not just by closing the 53189 open tabs on my computer but in my head too then that would be a real big vacation! 😏 And since that isn’t remotely possible off I go to get all the things done then! #enterprenuerlife ⠀

TOP 10 NOVEMBER FAVORITE PRODUCT FINDS
Affiliate links are used in this Favorite Product Finds post, incredibly thankful for your support.
1. Dip Nail Color
This has been a game-changer (at least for me)! I first tried dip nail color back in August (not sure why it took me this long to give them a try?) and I have been hooked ever since. Now I only get dip nails done, every.single.month. Take a peek here.
If you love having your nails painted but hate that they chip off too quick (or if you are like me who loves to eat with your hands (it’s a South Indian thing) and worry that your chipped nail color might get into your body) then this is for you.
I am currently experimenting with doing this at home by myself, stay tuned for I will share more once I am done. For now, check out phase 1 of the experiment under my Instagram Story Highlights ‘Skin & Nails’
2. Lotus Trolley Bags & Mesh Produce Bags
These reusable grocery cart bags are yet another game-changer for me! A while back I wrote about sustainable living and eco-friendly lifestyle, following which the brand gifted me these grocery shopping trolley bags.
And I have to tell you, these are perfect to shop, keep groceries organized, and also make an impact on the environment at the same time (simply by not using plastic or paper bags, or at least reducing the use of them as much as possible)!
The quality of these shopping bags is great! They come in a set of four and one of them is an insulated cooler bag for your cold/frozen products. The bags are detachable and the poles are removable so you can use them at the beach, for road trips, picnics and more. They are lightweight, compact, foldable and machine washable.
Lotus also has mesh bags that you can use instead of plastic bags when you shop for produce.
3. Hair Drying Towel
While washing our hair is one big chore, drying it is another, especially when you want to (like me) air dry your hair instead of using the hairdryer.
Also, who else hates drying your hair with those bulky turkey towels!? I absolutely hate it, so I mostly use a thin towel (one that I brought with me from India years back) to dry my hair. But recently, I found this hair drying towel, and you guys, it is an absolute must if you don’t like to use a blow dryer and like to air dry your hair!
This microfiber towel is Ultra Absorbent & Fast Drying, so yes, please!
4. Planner
You know that I love my planners, and with the New Year right around the corner (I have no freaking clue how that even happened, I mean, only 16 days until 2020, whew!!!) it is the best time to buy yourself one and stay ahead of your 2020 goals, plans and stay organized.
Again, I shared this one on my Instagram and in this post a few days back. More options here – option 1, option 2, option 3.
5. Blanket Scarves & Cape Scarves
It is that time of the year when we all want to curl up under layers of clothes and yet look cute at the same time, but that can be challenging at times.
But not challenging with these scarves, ones that you can dress up or down any outfit with, may it be spending the night in the city or going to a holiday party, you are totally covered (literally and figuratively) as long as you have at least one of these in your wardrobe you are all set!
I saw these, bought them, and I have been obsessed ever since. If you follow me on my Instagram you have already seen me flaunt them.
6. Puzzles for Kids
A while back I wrote a detailed blog post about how to keep your kids occupied while traveling. And also shared the shocking fact that our little one is addicted to puzzles (read more in this post).
Now that he has outgrown the first few sets of puzzles we (rather his dada) bought for him (he can finish them in about 3 mins, not exaggerating) so we have now moved onto the next level of puzzles.
The US map puzzle has been his current favorite. And we have also ordered a few more puzzles for him (his gifts for Christmas, but we might cave and give it to him sooner) and his fave uncle who is currently visiting India is bringing a few as well. So soon there will be pieces of puzzles all over the house 😮
These are great educational toys/gifts for the little ones. The best thing is that you can find a puzzle for kids of all ages.
7. Pajamas
Haha, don’t you guys make fun of me cuz I talk about them all the time! I am well aware that I have already shared about my favorite matching holiday pajamas with you all, but hear me out, these are neither matching nor holiday-centric PJs. I mean, you can wear most of these year-round.
And if it were up to me then I’d be living, traveling, and walking around in jammies all year long. I mean, tell me, what even comes remotely close to beating the comfort of cozy PJ sets? Absolutely nothing! Well, maybe our Indian kurta pajamas, but then again they are kind of PJs too (after all, it’s in the name as well), except they are more stylish.
So here you go, some of my recent PJ crushes – option 1, option 2, option 3, option 4, option 5.
8. The Silent Patient
Wait, what just happened here!?!? was my reaction as I almost finished the book. This thriller and a New York Times Bestseller kept my attention from the start but the ending was mind-blowing!
‘It is a deep, dark tale of murder, love, and revenge.”
That is all I will say about this book. If you like thrillers then you should definitely give it a read, especially if you haven’t read too many murder mysteries and thrillers.
9. Boots
It’s the season of adventuring outside in freezing cold temps! And we all need a good pair (or half a dozen pairs, guilty as charged) of boots, maybe for the snow or just to wear as we venture out in the city and not freeze our toes off.
Some of these boots are a few of my favorites – these snow boots (comfy, waterproof and stylish), another version from the same brand, I bought similar ones from this brand last year and still wear it all the time (and love it), similar pairs here, here and here. Bonus, all of these are super affordable too!
10. Barefoot Dreams Blanket
One item (besides the Spanx leggings) that is worth the hype and worth every penny is the Barefoot Dreams blankets. I am a huge lover of comfy anything, especially when it comes to throw blankets (you will see me curled up under one when I work in front of the computer or when I am on my fave recliner watching TV).
So I have tried and own quite a few favorite throws (my other favorites are from Costco and this one from Amazon). And I HAD TO try the barefoot dreams blanket to see what the big deal was all about, so I snagged one when they went on sale (currently restocked and on sale too). It makes for a great gift to self or for anyone else.
Just be aware of not having anyone else use yours or be prepared to give yours up hehe.
“November is month to be grateful and thankful for everything you already have in life.”
xoxo,
Kusum
