Being cautious of and making slow but steady changes to what I put in my body and on my skin is extremely important to me (and so should be everyone else’s as one’s overall health should be a top priority for all), because let’s face it, there are just so many harmful chemicals in most things we use on a daily basis. While it’s no easy task to eliminate all chemicals from our lives, it’s not too hard to gradually switch to brands and products that are kind to us, our skin and the environment. And one such holistic brand that I have been using the past few weeks and already loving is the skincare line, POLYN – their products are 100% cruelty-free, 100% synthetic-free and contain 100% non-GMO ingredients.
Key Ingredients: Peppermint, Horsetail, and Castille
Key Ingredients: Tuberose wax, Rosehip, and Shea butter
Key Ingredients: Aloe, Rosehip + Frankincense
- 100% Plant-based ingredients: They are toxin-free, food grade, gluten free and vegan. Their products do not contain synthetics or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) but are made with the highest quality of active, aromatherapeutic, biodegradable ingredients. And no fillers (like water) are added.
- Cruelty Free: Never tested on animals. Certified by PETA and the European Union standards bodies.
- Purposeful Packaging: To reduce the waste footprint, 100% of their packaging is reusable, recyclable or compostable. They continually consider all the materials used and look for ways to increase compostability and reduce total waste.
Tid-bits and useful resources I found on POLYN’s website:
- Environmental Working Group (EWG) advocates for cleaner products, and educate us about non-toxic ingredients. So, check out EWG’s website if you are interested in learning more about other products you use.
- Visit the PETA website to check on brands you love if you want to make sure the rest of your products are cruelty-free. Or download their “bunny app” to use as you shop the aisles of your favorite store.
So obviously there are more reasons than one for me to love a brand like POLYN and would highly recommend you give it a try! POLYN is available on Amazon too or you can directly shop from their website.
