Baby Shower & Celebrations ft. Kendra Scott

BLOGGERS, BLING, BABY BUMPS…

If you know me, you know all too well that I am all about celebration and jubilation, and that I never let go of any opportunity to create memories along the way… And it’s been no different when it comes to enjoying my journey these 9 months awaiting the precious little one’s arrival. While my family and friends had already planned two other Baby Shower events for me and the little one (more on that in a future post, maybe), I wanted to celebrate this special occasion with the amazing Seattle Blogger Community that I adore so much and am proud to be a part of! So, another Baby Shower and more celebrations were in order… But that’s not it, how often does it happen that 3 blogger babes are BUMP’in (the more the merrier haha) around at the same time, like never, right? And I of course wanted to celebrate the BUMP together with my two favorite mamas-to-be, Angie and Sarah.

Goes without saying that it is heck of a lot of fun (trust me on that) when you put a bunch of bloggers in one place, and when that place happens to be a Kendra Scott store, it’s a whole other story. Yep, that’s right , KENDRA SCOTT graciously hosted a BABY SHOWER for us with sips, bites, swag and more…

And my favorite girl squad (see why here, who were literally a phone call away) spruced up the already gorgeous venue, adding to the elegance of the event and helping us capture some memories… In other words, Tammy of First and Bloom brought in beautiful flower bouquets (which we later got to bring home with us), Callie of Holcomb Weddings & Events included more golden-deets while my favorite photographer friend, Missy of Missy Palacol Photography captured all the fun and merry-making on camera.

I had dolled up for the evening in this stunning Emerald Knot Front Maxi Dress from Seraphine (fashionably pregnant, hell yes! ;)). For starters, I love the color, the flattering V-neckline and the super soft fabric. The knot front details of the maxi dress is to die for as it falls beautifully over the bump – it’s all about accentuating the bump, baby! (read my Maternity Fashion & Styling Tips post to see what I mean ;)). I (obviously) completed the look with a whole lot of Kendra Scott bling 😀

As the rest of the blogger friends walked in, the evening was full of giggles, chatter, laughter and pictures (and insta-stories, of course)! After a fun-filled evening, cake cutting, lots of good wishes, blessings and helping us create some lovely memories, the guests left with a swag bag filled with goodies from some of our favorite brands – Kendra Scott, Fresh Cosmetics, Missy Palacol Photography, First and Bloom, and we also included a handwritten ‘Thank You’ on small chalkboards.

And last but not the least, as we wrapped up the amazing evening, Kendra Scott even had us mamas-to-be design a piece of jewelry from their color bar. After spending an awful amount of time (trust me, picking out just one piece from their vast and beautiful collections of jewelry is never an easy task), I finally settled on some gorgeous turquoise earrings (duh, of course had to choose my favorite color from the color bar). And I have been flaunting ‘em beauties ever since.

All in all, the mamas-to-be had one of their best evenings celebrating the Bumps and Babies with Blogger friends and Bling. Now to eagerly await the grand arrival of our 3 precious little ones and to plan some fun play dates…
